▪ Cameron Village hosts its annual Holiday Open House 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17. Dress Six Forks looks to spice up Hump Day this week with its Women’s Wednesday Lunch Break, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16. Attendees can check out new pieces from Sweetie Pie Jewelry during a trunk show, while noshing on snacks, mocktails and wine. There will be discounts throughout the store during the party. Shopping for Success
Triangle fashionistas have long known the Dress for Success Excess Inventory Sale as a place to score big deals on designer duds. Now the organization has expanded the sale with the Shop for Success Pop-up Store, Nov. 17-19, along with the inventory sale on Nov. 19. Held in Durham’s Northgate Mall, the pop-up store features high-end designer clothing and accessories for women not found at the inventory sale. The pop-up is open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Nov. 17-18 and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Nov. 19 in suite 246 near Sears, while the inventory sale will be 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Nov. 19 in suite 248. Shoppers can get early access at 9 a.m. to the inventory sale with a $20 donation. All proceeds benefit Dress for Success’ work to assist unemployed and in-need women in the Triangle. The Pop-Up Raleigh Market returns Saturday, Nov. 19, outside Trophy Brewing and Taproom. Local artisans and crafters sell handmade wares that can include clothing, jewelry, accessories, gifts and more, along with vintage pieces.
