It’s not often one sees a life-size Queen Elizabeth II pillow surrounded by 90 corgi pillows. But that’s exactly what Durham custom fabric producer Spoonflower created last week to celebrate the British royal’s 90th birthday. Images of the company’s fabric tribute to the queen and her love of the diminutive dogs made the rounds on the internet, illustrating the company’s digital printing service that allows customers to create fabrics bearing the image of their pets. The company plans to send two of the pillows to the queen, and auction the rest to benefit charity. To see the pillows, visit press.spoonflower.com/queen-and-corgis.
