Tickets are still available for te Asheville-based Blind Pig Supper Club’s next Raleigh event on Aug. 9.

Tickets for the 12-course Japanese cuisine dinner from 5-9:30 p.m. cost $90.

Blind Pig Supper Club is a dining event where attendees only learn a short time beforehand where the dinner will be held. The Asheville supper club has migrated east since one of its integral chefs, Drew Maykuth, relocated to Raleigh to open the Stanbury.

This Aug. 9 Rising Sun dinner will recreate a dinner that Maykuth and chef Brian Canipelli did several years ago in Asheville. This time, it will feature Maykuth, Canipelli and several other chefs, including Scott Crawford of Standard Foods and Jason Smith of 18 Seaboard, both of Raleigh, Matt Kelly of Mateo in Durham, and Kyle McKnight of Highland Avenue in Hickory.
