Tickets are still available for various parts of next week’s Terra Vita Food & Drink Festival in Chapel Hill.
You can still buy tickets for the Southern Harvest dinner at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 9 at the Weathervane restaurant at Southern Season in Chapel Hill. This meal is being cooked by chef Kevin Johnson of The Grocery in Charleston, S.C.; chef Jason Alley from Pasture and Comfort restaurants in Richmond, Va., and Weathervane chefs Spencer Carter and Vanessa Haydock. Tickets costs $85.
[UPDATED]: Foodies can immerse themselves in Oct. 10th’s sustainable classroom. Many of the sessions are already sold out but attendees can still choose to two sessions focused on wine that are being held at the N.C. Botanical Garden. Tickets cost $60..
The three-day event culminates with the Grand Tasting on the Green at the Southern Village from 1-4 p.m. Oct. 11. Attendees are able to sample food from more than 45 chefs and artisans from across North Carolina, as well as organic coffee, biodynamic, organically-grown and natural wines, local microbrews and spirits. Tickets cost $75 for food and alcohol and $60 for a designated driver ticket.
