We want to hear your stories about what treats you leave out for Santa and his reindeer.
Is it always the same cookies? Are they always served on the same plate? What traditions did you experience as a child? What traditions did you carry on or what new traditions have you started with your children?
There is one rule for your stories: Nobody wants to spoil the fun. So you need to write your essay accordingly.
We’ll publish a selection of your essays on Christmas Eve.
Never miss a local story.
Mail those to Andrea Weigl, The News & Observer, 215 S. McDowell St., Raleigh, N.C., 27601. Or write an email with “Santa Snacks” in the subject line to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include your full name, age, town and a phone number so we us get in touch if we have any questions.
The deadline to share your story is midnight Sunday, Dec. 14.
