Tickets on sale now for Cary’s Beer and Bacon Festival

The March 29 event will bring beer and bacon lovers to Cary’s Koka Booth Amphitheater.

Cary’s Koka Booth Amphitheater has just announced a new food festival for March 29: an all-you-care-to-taste Beer and Bacon festival. Tickets are on sale now.

Guests will be able to sample more than 75 beers and wines paired with bacon dishes. More than 15 Triangle restaurants will be serving up samples of dishes trying to win a $500 prize for the best bacon dish. The main stage will have live music as well as a “Butchering 101” class.

VIP tickets are available for $69 and are limited to 1,500 guests who will get to enter the event two hours early from noon to 6 p.m. Regular admission costs $35 in advance or $45 on the day of the event and allows entrance at 2 p.m. Designated driver tickets are available: $35 for the VIP event and $25 for regular admission.

Children ages 12 and under are free. But organizers noted in the press release: “This event is not designed for children. They are welcome but you will find very little of interest to them.”

Tickets can be purchased by calling 800-514-3849 or at etix.com.
