Blind Pig returns to Raleigh for Feb. 9 dinner

Blind Pig, an underground supper club that originated in Asheville, is returning to Raleigh for only its second event Feb. 9.
The supper club raises money for charity by hosting dinners in undisclosed locations. Diners buy their tickets online and receive an email a couple days before the event with details on where the dinner is being held.
The Feb. 9 event features chefs Matt Kelly of Mateo Tapas and Vin Rouge, both in Durham; Brian Canipelli of Cucina 24 in Asheville; and Danielle Centeno of Escazu Chocolates in Raleigh. It costs $85. Tickets are available at blindpigofasheville.com.
The dinner will benefit the Helene Foundation, a non-profit that helps North Carolina families with mothers actively undergoing cancer treatments.
