Fort Bragg honors fallen Special Operations soldiers

Angela Grissom, the spouse of Sergeant First Class James Grissom touches the wall before she places a rose at a memorial bearing the names of the fallen as the U.S. Army Special Operations Command holds a memorial service at Ft. Bragg, NC to honor the soldiers it has lost in the past year on May 23, 2013. Grissom dies in Germany in March 2013 of injuries sustained in Afghanistan.

More than 300 Special Operations soldiers have died since 9/11, many of them from units based at Fort Bragg.
