Henry Glenn Marshall, age 22, died in his sleep Wednesday May 13th at his home in Greensboro.
Henry was born on Aug. 26, 1992 in Chapel Hill, NC. He graduated Chapel Hill High School in 2010. He was interested in the visual and musical arts from an early age, and pursued these passions as an adult. He attended the The Academy of Art University in San Francisco, and was studying at Alamance Community College.
In the last few years, Marshall had produced many drawings and several short animated films. He played guitar and sang in several bands, and in recent months produced and sold his first music album. His bands frequently performed at clubs in the area.
Among his friends and family, Marshall was known for his alternative sense of humor and his kindness to others. He enjoyed bicycling with his father and together they cycled in New Mexico and Holland.
He is survived by his mother and father, Mary Glenn "Tootie" Marshall and John Francis "Paco" Marshall of Chapel Hill; his older brothers, Jackson Hayes Marshall, age 24, of San Diego and Samuel Alexander Marshall, age 27, of Asheville; his grandmother Eleanor Marshall, of Virginia Beach; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be dearly missed.
A memorial service is being planned for early June.
