Edna Jeffreys Todd, 74, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2015 after months of declining health. Edna was born March 27, 1941 in Wake County to the late William Earl Jeffreys and Alice Thomas Jeffreys. She and her late husband, Wayne Royal Todd who passed away in 1995 owned and operated Todd’s Train Depot in Wendell.
Memorial service 3:00 pm, Sunday, May 17, 2015 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Rd., Knightdale with Pastor Bob Albritton officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends following the service until 6:00 pm and other times at the home of her sister, Brenda and Ike Smiley, 1416 Gannon Avenue, Zebulon.
Surviving: son, Aaron Douglas “Chub” Todd (Suzy) of Red Oak, Wayne Royal Todd, Jr. of Lake Wendell; daughter, Becky Sayles of Wendell; grandchildren: Amanda Norris (Adam), Christy Sayles (Everette), Shannon Hardy (Brad); great-grandchildren: Paige, Chloe, Ava, and Brett; sisters: Jenny J. Evans (George) of Lexington, Sandra J. Leonard (Dennis) of Wendell, and Brenda J. Smiley (Ike) of Zebulon.
