Everyone thinks that their mother is the most special person in the world. After all, this is the lady who brought us into this world and cared for us, nourished us, and lovingly taught us all she knew.
So this is to confirm that Rebeth V. Parker, widow of Alfred C. Parker of Raleigh, NC, was the most special person in our world. Nearing the end of her 96 years, in pain, her only thoughts were that she hated to leave her 2 girls. ( She was famous for being a world class worrier. )
She was also famous in our family for unconditionally adoring her 4 grandchildren and carried that love through to her 12 great grandchildren and one great- great granddaughter. They all reciprocated that love and will always keep her in their hearts.
We said goodbye to her early Friday morning, May 29th, glad for her release from pain and earthly worries but so saddened that she won't be calling us on the phone anymore to see how we are.
Rebeth Victoria Parker, you were loved by so many.
She leaves behind 2 daughters, Joy Parker Starling and spouse Larry, and Dianne Parker Moorefield and spouse Thomas; 4 grandchildren, Al Newsom and spouse Suzy, John White and spouse Shannon, Kerri Newsom Doyle and spouse Jim, and Patrick White and spouse Stephanie, and 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
