Thomas Allen Bone 88, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather went home to heaven on July 11, 2015. He was born July 17, 1926 to the late Eddie and Octavia Bone. He was preceded in death wife Pattie Pridgen Bone, son Thomas Allen Bone, Jr., grandson, Allen Booth, brother, Daniel Bone and sisters Nora Baker, Doreatha Barnes and Gladys Hinton. He was owner and operator of TA Bone Trucking and Nash County farmer.
He leaves to cherish his memory daughters, Peggy Pearce (Jay-deceased) of Nashville, Joan Booth (Gray) of Stone Mountain, GA; and son, William “Billy” Bone (Vickie) of Nashville, daughter-in-law Vickie Bone; five grandchildren, Angel Quincy (Hunter) of Tarboro, Kelly Joyner ( Kenneth) of Spring Hope, Andrew Booth (Brittany) of Powder Springs, GA, Nelson Bone of Nashville, Michael Bone (Teresa) of South Dakota; four great-grandchildren, Cassidy and Isaac Joyner, Drake and Holton Quincy. Thomas also leaves a devoted and loving sister, Betty Joyce Thompson.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held after visitation in the Chapel at 3:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Bone Family Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Shelly, Stephanie, Latisha, Malinda, Mary and Betty with Friends of Hospice of Nash General. Thanks are also extended to special care givers, Judy, Gail, Daphine, Peggy and Sandra as well as the many family and friends who have provided support.
