Henry D. Rambeaut Jr., 74, passed away Monday, August 3, 2015.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 6, 2015, at Forbis and Dick North Elm Street Chapel. Interment will follow at the Center United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Henry was born May 15, 1941, in Wake County to the late Buddy and Bessie Rambeaut. Before his retirement, he worked for Montgomery Green and for Foodcraft Equipment Co.
Henry was a kind, humble man who loved his Lord Jesus Christ and was devoted to his family and friends. He attended Center United Methodist Church. He will be most remembered for his kindness, his deep appreciation for the many blessings of life, his sense of humor, and the quiet way he went about helping people who were down on their luck. Almost every day you could find him in his workshop, where he restored antique trucks. His prizes were two Chevys, a 1959 and a 1964, both candy apple red.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Ann Rambeaut; daughter, Heather Nicole Baker and her husband Elliot; brother, Furman Dale Rambeaut and his wife Ruth; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Baker; niece, Tiffany Rambeaut, and nephew, Bryan Rambeaut.
The family will receive friends prior to Thursday's service from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. at the Forbis and Dick North Elm Street Chapel.
