Target seeking to hire 200 for new Cary store

Target will hold a job fair later this week to hire about 200 workers for its new store in west Cary, which is scheduled to open in March.

Target will hold a job fair this week to hire about 200 workers for its new store in west Cary, which is scheduled to open in March.

The fair will be held at the DoubleTree Suites at 2515 Meridian Parkway in Durham. It runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

The 135,000-square-foot Target store is to be one of the anchor tenants for Parkside Town Commons, a retail project under construction at N.C. 55 and N.C. 540.

The Parkside store will be the Minneapolis-based retailer’s second in Cary.
