Cary apartment complex sells for $24.3 million

The Cary Brook Apartments have been acquired for $24.3 million by a New York-based investment fund, according to Wake County property records.

Greystone Quinvest Properties bought the 360-unit complex from C-III Capital Partners, which paid $15.22 for Cary Brook in November 2010, according to property records.

The property, located just off Interstate 40 near its intersection with U.S. 1, was 95 percent occupied as of October, according to Karnes Research and the Triangle Apartment Association.
