A new month means it’s time for a few coupon chores

It's Feb. 1, which means it's time to do a few coupon chores. If you haven't already, take a little time to purge your coupon organizer of all the January coupons that are now expired. Next up, check your favorite printable coupon sites for new coupons. Most sites roll out new coupons over the first few days of each new month. So if you don't see any new coupons you like today, I recommend checking in each day this week. Here are some of my favorite sites to print coupons:

Here are some of my favorite sites to print coupons:

*The News & Observer's Find N Save coupon page, which is powered by Coupons.com

*BettyCrocker.com

*Pillsbury.com

*CommonKindness.com. This site is great for folks looking for coupons on healthier products.

*SmartSource.com

*RedPlum.com

*MamboSprouts.com. Another good site of healthy product coupons.

*LiveBetterAmerica.com

Third, check to see if you have any mail-in rebates that need to be mailed in. Most rebates give you a two-week window to mail in the form once the offer has expired.

And finally, be sure to check in at the online sites you use, such as SavingStar, Ibotta and Recyclebank. Those sites typically release new offers timed to the start of the new month.
