Body found behind North Raleigh day care

RALEIGH- - Police officials are working to determine whether human remains found behind a North Raleigh day care center which may be those of a person missing from Johnston County.

According to a press release, officers responded to the parking lot of The Growing Child day care center, 321 Spring Forest Road in Raleigh, after an abandoned vehicle had been discovered there. The car was determined to be that of Kelli Woolard, missing from Johnston County since last weekend.

A short time after arriving to the scene, officers discovered human remains in a wooded area near the vehicle. The body has been transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for autopsy and identification.
