Man robs Garner ABC store

A man robbed a Garner ABC store at 204 Highway 70 E. this afternoon, making off with an undisclosed amount of money, according to the Garner police.

The man approached the teller at 1:13 p.m. and implied he had a weapon.

The man is described as black, wearing dark pants, a white sweatshirt, black tobaggan and sunglasses. He fled the store on foot.

Garner police ask anyone with information to call 772-8810 or CrimeStoppers at 226-2746.
