CARY - Police are searching for a man in connection with what investigators were calling the suspicious death of the woman he lives with.

The body of Maria Teresa Herrera-Diaz, 29, of 102 Dunhagan Place in Cary was discovered by roommates Saturday morning, according to a news release from the Cary Police Department. Investigators are not calling the death a homicide, awaiting a review by the medical examiner's office.

Police were looking for Arnulfo Barron Cobos, who they say stole a station wagon from the home between 4:15 and 5:15 a.m. Saturday, according to the news release. Cobos, 50, did not report to work Saturday.

Cobos is described as 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds. He has a goatee.

The stolen car was a silver 2004 Saturn L-300 with the North Carolina license plate XWT-5469, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Cary Police Department watch commander at 469-4016.
