Silver Alert issued for missing Kenly man

A Silver Alert has been issued for an elderly Kenly man who is believed to suffer from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

Edward Thomas Freeman, 81, was last seen at 300 South Railroad St. in Kenly. He is described as white, five-foot-five and 150 pounds with a white beard and no teeth. He has short gray hair and green eyes.

He is thought to be wearing a front zip sweater. He may be driving a 1998 yellow Mustang with the license plate number PTX3846.
