HOLLY SPRINGS -- Police are trying to find the people who fired guns late Saturday into an occupied home near the intersection of Blalock and Third streets.
Two rounds of gunfire entered the home, police said. Three unoccupied vehicles at the home also were hit by gunfire about seven to 10 times.
No one at the home was injured.
Police think multiple weapons were used in the attack, reported about 11:30 p.m.
Investigators do not think the shooting was random. They also are investigating the possibility that gunfire was returned in the incident.
Police are searching for two vehicles: a light-colored, four-door American-made sedan that is mid-sized or larger and a dark-color, full-sized American-made pickup truck.
Police think one or both of the vehicles could have damage from gunfire.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 919-557-9111.
