CHARLOTTE - A 17-year-old Gastonia man was arrested over the weekend after being accused of threatening a woman on the social networking Web site MySpace.

Terrance Dawkins was arrested Friday after allegedly writing that he would kill, harm or shoot the victim, their family and residence, said Sgt. Trent Conard of the Gastonia Police Department.

Dawkins was booked in Gaston County jail on Friday on an unsecured bond. He was later released.
