Man found shot to death in apartment

DURHAM - A Durham man was found shot to death early today in his apartment on Hudson Avenue, police said.

Officers found the body of David Anthony Taborn, 42, of 1309 Hudson Ave., Apt. E-10. They were called to the scene at 12:12 a.m. by a neighbor who reported seeing a man lying in the apartment but not moving, said Kammie Michael, spokeswoman for the Durham Police Department.

Police called the shooting a homicide. They have filed no charges in the case.
