DURHAM - A teenager's concert Friday night will benefit a local food bank.

Jonathan Crawford, 15, is a 10th-grader at Durham Academy. He has arranged for four bands, whose members go to Durham Academy and Chapel Hill High School, to play Friday at 7 p.m. in Kenan Auditorium at Durham Academy's Upper School.

The concert is free, but donations of nonperishable canned foods is strongly encouraged. The food will benefit the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina.
