Police want help in solving robbery

DURHAM -- Police are seeking information on a June 20 robbery in the 4400 block of Myers Park Drive, off Sparger Road in the western part of town.

According to police Cpl. M.C. Walkowe, the Durham CrimeStoppers coordinator, a woman said a black man entered her home about 2:30 p.m., demanded jewelry, assaulted her and left.

She described the intruder as 5 feet 8 inches tall and about 200 pounds, cleanshaven with a short Afro, and driving a white Acura or Lexus sport utility vehicle with a temporary license plate.
