Second suspect held in shootings

DURHAM - Police have arrested the second of two men they were looking for in connection with a number of recent shootings.

Desmond Deloach, 16, was arrested on the 4100 block of South Alston Avenue about 4 p.m. Friday without incident.

Ronald Girard Ransom, 20, was arrested early Friday morning, also without incident.

Both face multiple charges of assault, shooting within city limits and damage to property. The shootings, including one in which a woman was shot in the leg, occurred from June 27 to 29.
