DURHAM - A man and woman accused of causing serious injuries to their newborn daughter are no longer in jail, but their child, now 2 months old, is in foster care.

Laquita Taneka Joiner, 19, and Christopher Michael Kelly, 35, both of East Wabash Street, are charged with felony child abuse. They were released Tuesday on a $500,000 unsecured bond.
