Man in fire still in critical condition

DURHAM -- A man who was severely burned in a fire Sunday remained in critical condition Tuesday at UNC Hospitals.
Investigators have yet to talk with the man, Anthony Khamala. Investigators think Khamala started the fire inside the home at 1020 Ninth St. as a suicide attempt.
A State Bureau of Investigation dog at the scene detected some form of accelerant, which is currently being tested at an SBI lab.
