Raleigh boy wins tennis honor

Robert Wright, a freshman at Enloe High School, has won the Southern Section of the U.S. Tennis Association's Arthur Ashe Essay Contest this summer. He will receive a trip this weekend to New York City to attend Arthur Ashe Kids Day at the U.S. Open. Contest winners attend tennis clinics on the courts of the National Tennis Center and play tennis with some of the top tennis players.

Robert is an avid tennis player with more than four years of experience. He is coached by Harold Johnson of the Raleigh Parks and Recreation Department. His parents are Gerald and Calla Wright of Raleigh.
