The third public hearing on the Wake County schools reassignment plan will be held tonight at 6:30 p.m. at Millbrook High School, 2201 Spring Forest Road.
This will be the largest public hearing so far, said a Wake schools spokesman. Already 90 people have signed up online to speak before the school board about the reassignment plan, which looks at how to fill 10 schools over the next three years. Attendees can also sign up to speak at the hearing, but those who signed up on the Web will go first.
There are two more hearings set this week: Wednesdayat Fuquay-Varina High, 201 Bengal Blvd., Fuquay-Varina, and Thursday at East Wake High,5101 Rolesville Road, Wendell.

Three more public hearings on the reassignment plan will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on these dates:

* Wednesday at Fuquay-Varina High School, 201 Bengal Blvd., Fuquay-Varina.
* Thursday at East Wake High School, 5101 Rolesville Road, Wendell.

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
The board will then hold a work session to discuss the feedback later this month, said Bill Poston, Wake schools spokesman. Then early next month, the board will vote on a final reassignment plan, he said.
