The recent legal ruling against mandatory year-round schools has left much of the Wake County district's reassignment plan up in the air. You've got questions, and we'll try to answer one a day.

Q: When will families that request a traditional-calendar option receive their assignments?

A: The school district is expected to mail letters to those families on June 20. They can apply for transfers from June 25 to July 6.
