Traffic will be moving slowly on several major Triangle roads this weekend due to lane closures. They include:

- Interstate 540 West between U.S. 64 Business and Buffalo Road. Two of three lanes will be closed from 7 p.m. today until 6 a.m. Monday, weather permitting, while a contractor completes a punch list from the freeway construction.

- Southeast Cary Parkway, where pavement evaluation work will lead to lane closures between Holly Springs Road and Tryon Road from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.

- Wake Forest Road in Raleigh, where one lane will be closed from the I-440 interchange to Six Forks Road from 9 p.m. today to 6 a.m. Monday. The work is part of a project to widen Wake Forest Road and improve the I-440 interchange.
