Interim dean named for NCSU college

RALEIGH - N.C. State University has named Jeffery P. Braden interim dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.

Braden follows Toby L. Parcel, who will return to the faculty in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology.

With more than 5,000 students, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences is one of N.C. State's largest colleges.

Braden will leave his position as associate dean for research and graduate studies within the college. He will serve as interim dean until a permanent replacement is named.
