A story Jan. 11 on Page 3B incorrectly stated the job title that Carrboro's assistant to the town manager will assume in Athens, Ga. Richard White will become the assistant town manager in Athens. The story also was unclear about the Carrboro Board of Aldermen's unanimous vote on the name of a new high school. The aldermen voted to recommend to the Chapel Hill-Carrboro School Board that the school be named Carrboro High School.

* Aldermen voted unanimously to name the new high school to be built in Carrboro "Carrboro High School."

* The board voted to construct speed tables on High Street, which will help to slow down traffic. High Street connects Main Street and Hillsborough Road. In addition, a Chapel Hill Transit bus travels down the street more than 40 times on a typical weekday.

* Richard White, assistant to Town Manager Steve Stewart, is leaving Carrboro to be assistant to the town manager of Athens, Ga.
