Channing Tatum stopped for a coffee at a Statesville gas station Tuesday and turned it into a nightclub party on Facebook Live.
The Sunoco clerk, Beatrice, recognized Tatum immediately and invited him to join her behind the counter. In short order, the music in the store was turned up and Tatum’s “Magic Mike” dance moves were on display.
Tatum told the clerk he was riding across the country, to which she replied he should have let her know so she could have gathered her clothes and joined him.
When Tatum tells the clerk he is heading on to Asheville, she suggests he could stay, and he asks if there is a party.
Never miss a local story.
“Baby, we’re going to party just me and you,” the clerk says on the video. “We’ll put the rest of them (people) out. We’re going to start the party right now in the store.”
The video ends with Tatum signing the clerk’s hat.
