How I got the shot: I was working on a story about the small take out restaurant in Sampson County when I noticed the cousins taking cover from an thunder storm. I was taken by the closeness between them against the backdrop of the North Carolina flag. I used a Canon-1DX Mark II camera with a 100mm lens, the ISO was set at 800, and the exposure was 1/100th of a second at f/3.2.
