Hope Church in Clayton is collecting nonperishable food items for its food closet and for the BackPack Buddies program. The church is seeking the following items on the schedule listed: week of Jan. 24, canned and, or uncooked pastas, including spaghetti, noodles and rice; and week of Jan. 31, canned meats.
