Southbound Kildaire Farm Road between High Meadow Drive and SW Cary Parkway is closed to traffic Friday morning after a water main break.

Drivers should plan to use an alternate route. At least one travel lane is expected to reopen later Friday morning, according to a Cary spokeswoman.

Also, Kildaire Farm Road is closed between Cary Parkway and Tryon Road as crews repair another water main break near Glasgow Road.

Residents who live along Kildaire Farm Road and SW Cary Parkway may need to flush all household faucets for a few minutes due to the water main repairs, according to the town. Anyone with questions can call the town of Cary at 919-469-4090.
