An Evening at The Cary Theater
Cary Central Rotary Club will host An Evening at The Cary Theater to raise money for Coins for Alzheimer’s Research Trust from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14, at 122 E. Chatham St. A cash bar will open at 6 p.m. for snacks, beverages and socializing. Mark Hensley will give a presentation, “The Challenges of Alzheimer’s and Caregiving.” Admission is free, and donations for Coins for Alzheimer’s Research Trust will be accepted.
The five Rotary clubs of Cary will host a Memory Café for people with Alzheimer’s, people with dementia and caregivers from 4:30-6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, at the Cary Senior Center, 120 Maury Odell Place. There will be dinner, music and dancing. The clubs plan to hold additional Memory Café events on Tuesday, Nov. 18, and Wednesday, Dec. 17.
