Kristin Leigh Collins and Aaron James Travelstead were married in a late afternoon ceremony on September 1, 2013 at the ByBee Blueberry Farm in North Bend, Washington. Reverend Walt Cesmat officiated. A reception hosted by her parents followed with dinner and dancing beneath the majesty of Mt. Si.
The bride is the daughter of Larry Collins of Melbourne, FL and Karen Thorsen of Cary, NC. The groom is the son of Therese Travelstead of Pelzer, SC and the late James Travelstead.
The bride was escorted by her parents. Her sister, Kim Collins Spinks of Alpharetta, GA was matron of honor. Joanna Fife of Decatur, GA, and McKinley Spinks, of Alpharetta, GA were bridesmaids.
The best man was Jami Lorenz, of Anchorage, AK. Groomsmen were Travis Kincaid, of Soldotna, AK, and Shane Spinks of Alpharetta, GA. Austin Spinks, nephew of the bride, served as ring bearer.

The bride is a graduate of Cary High School and North Carolina State University where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She is currently teaching ninth grade at The Bear Creek School in Redmond, WA. The groom is a graduate of Skyview High School in Soldotna, AK and the High Tech Institute in Phoenix, AZ. He is a technical specialist for AT&T and services the Northwest and Alaska.
The couple resides in Monroe, WA, and they plan a mid-winter honeymoon.
