Apex will offer free paper shredding from 9 a.m. to noon, or until the truck of shredded documents is full, at the Apex Police Department, 205 Saunders St. Only documents with personal, identifying information will be shredded, such as bills or old checks. Each person can bring up to three small bags or boxes of paper.
