Operation Christmas Child
Two churches in Fuquay-Varina are collection sites through Monday, Nov. 21, for the Samaritan’s Purse project Operation Christmas Child. Those interested can donate shoeboxes filled with school supplies, hygiene items and toys. The shoeboxes will be distributed to children in need around the world.
The area collection sites are Fuquay-Varina United Methodist Church, 100 S. Toy, clothing collection
Greater Life Ministries collects toys and clothes to give to homeless and needy families. The organization also collects household items, furniture, clothing and more.
