Jessie Benson’s ‘Safe’ won first place in 2014 in the Cary Gallery of Artists’ annual Small Treasures Juried Exhibit. It’s the gallery’s only juried exhibit of the year. The art must be 8-by-10 inches. This year’s exhibit goes on display Friday, March 26 with a reception at 6 p.m. Raleigh artist Leslie Pruneau was the judge. Awards will be given for first, second and third places as well as honorable mention. They’ll be highlighted in the gallery for a month and will be available for sale.
