The Kaleidoscope 5K Run & Walk, organized by the Kaleidoscope Charter High School project, starts with registration at 8 a.m. and the race at 9 a.m. Sunday, April 3, at Indian Creek Park, 101 Town Hall Drive, Morrisville.

Cary Area Emergency Medical Services’ Citizens’ Academy will be from Thursday, April 7, through Thursday, April 28. Compost bin sales

The Cary Road Race is Saturday, April 16, at Koka Booth Amphitheatre, 8003 Regency Parkway. Registration and packet pick-up is 7-9:30 a.m. The 10K race starts at 8:30 a.m., the 5K at 9:45 a.m. and the one-mile Fun Run at 10:30 a.m.

Cary is looking for volunteers for Spring Daze on April 30. Volunteers, ages 15 and older or accompanied by an adult, can apply from now until Wednesday, April 20.
