Hand of Hope Walk
The Hand of Hope Ministry’s 11th annual Walk for Life & Run Baby Run 5k and 10k races are from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 1, at WakeMed Soccer Park, 201 Soccer Park Drive, Cary. Step back in time with the Oldies Drive-In from 5-9 p.m. Friday, May 6, at White Plains United Methodist Church, 313 SE Maynard Road, Cary. The event is a fundraiser for the church’s Youth Ministry programs. Entrance fee is $3 per vehicle. Classic cars and music from the 50s, 60s and 70s will be featured in the church parking lot. Food, including hamburgers and milkshakes, will be available for purchase from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
Purple Cloth 5K
