Frame by Frame
The Frame by Frame ’70s Summer School film series continues with the movie “Badlands” at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, at The Cary theater, 122 E. Chatham St., Cary.

N.C. Symphony Summerfest
The North Carolina Symphony continues its annual Summerfest series with a tribute to Beethoven this week. The concerts will feature separate piano concertos and symphonies, including the composer’s renowned Fifth Symphony.
Beethoven Festival I is Thursday, June 16, and Beethoven Festival II is Friday, June 17, at Koka Booth Amphitheatre, 8003 Regency Parkway, Cary. Both concerts begin at 7:30 p.m.
