Project timeline should be revisited
I read in the April 1 Cary News that the intersection of Cary Parkway and High House Road is going to be upgraded to handle the increase in traffic flow. The article also mentioned that Morrisville Parkway will be closed to thru traffic for construction of a railroad bridge.
The plan is to build the bridge first and the Cary Parkway/High House project afterward. Wouldn’t it make more sense to upgrade the Cary Parkway/High House intersection first, so when Morrisville Parkway is closed, the increased traffic on Cary Parkway will flow more smoothly?
Maybe logic is not part of the plan.
Never miss a local story.
