No camera on splash plad
I’d like to address concerns expressed in a recent Letter to the Editor (“No video streaming for splash pad,” July 19). In an effort to create excitement about the opening of the Town of Fuquay-Varina splash pad, a live streaming video was made available to the public via our website so that citizens could see how construction progressed during the 60 short days it took to build the spray park.
Camera access to the public has been taken down since the opening of the Splash Pad on July 15 and is now limited to law enforcement. We apologize for any confusion, and we invite everyone to come out enjoy the town’s new splash pad, which is open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Labor Day. It’s free.
