Cleveland quarterback Aaron Farmer threw four touchdown passes and ran for one more in leading the Rams to a 35-21 win over Green Hope on Friday.
Farmer was 19-of-23 for 374 yards and ran for 40 yards.
The Rams, who entered the night averaging 44 points per game, were nearly shut out in the first half. With 6 seconds remaining, on 4th and 2, Farmer lofted a 27-yard pass to Jacob Scott, tying the game at 7-7.
The Falcons regained the lead 14-7 after Owen Waldron’s 3-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.

But the Rams responded immediately. Farmer hit Patrick Jesequel for a 34-yard touchdown to tie the game at 14. And after Green Hope fumbled the ensuing kickoff, Farmer gave the Rams their first lead of the night, 21-14, on a 9-yard TD run.
Green Hope came back to tie the game again after a 13-play, 65-yard drive, capped by Luke Massei’s 7-yard touchdown pass to Bryce Dixon.
The Falcons had a chance to take the lead late, but their 22-yard field goal missed. On the ensuing play, Farmer hit Greg Tyler for an 80-yard touchdown pass and a 28-21 lead.
The Rams got the ball back again with three minutes remaining, and Farmer buried Green Hope for good with a 39-yard touchdown pass to Caiden Norman.
