Orange County Board of Commissioners: Incumbents Jacobs, McKee re-elected

Voters returned incumbent members Barry Jacobs and Earl McKee to the Orange County Board of Commissioners in Tuesday’s Democratic primary.

Voters returned incumbent members Barry Jacobs and Earl McKee to the Orange County Board of Commissioners in Tuesday’s Democratic primary.

Board Chairman Jacobs had 10,680 votes in the at-large race to 4,974 votes for challenger Bonnie Hauser.

In the District 2 race, Vice Chairman Earl McKee had 4,041 votes to 2,648 votes for challenger Mark Marcoplos.

The winners are unopposed in the Nov. 2 general election. District 1 candidates – Democrat Mia Burroughs and Republican Gary Kahn – did not face primary opposition and will compete in November to replace retiring District 1 Commissioner Alice Gordon.
